Kimball T. Smith, President
Kim has a B.S. (Accounting) and M.S. (Operations Research) from Kansas University. He began his natural gas career in 1967 with Northern Natural Gas in Omaha where he was in charge of jurisdictional sales to Northern’s LDC and pipeline customers, then sales to nontraditional, nonregulated customers. Kim left Northern in 1983 to form Kimball Energy Corporation. KimS@kimballenergy.com

R. Scott Smokoski, Director, Business Development
Scott earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Arizona in 1981 and spent the next 18 years in the energy business with Union Pacific Resources and its marketing and trading subsidiary, UPFI. Scott managed UPFI’s business development efforts in the Rockies, Northwest and Western Canada and joined Kimball in 1999 to oversee long term sales and supply, asset management, and capital projects. Debbie Speyer, Manager, Gas Control
Debbie graduated with honors from Southwestern Adventist College. Prior to joining Kimball, she had over ten years experience in the gas industry with Enron Corporation (Northern Natural and Transwestern in Gas Control) and was Manager of Gas Control with Landmark Oil & Gas for two years. Debbie then took several years off to start a family before Kimball enticed her back into the energy business in 1995. DeborahS@kimballenergy.com

Lori McPherson, CPA, Controller
Lori earned a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington before returning to school to earn a degree in Accounting, graduating with honors. Lori is a CPA and prior to joining Kimball, was a senior auditor with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where Union Pacific Resources was among her clients. LoriM@kimballenergy.com
